Bringing Learning to Life
Through Purposeful Play

Explorers Play Village provides both an enrichment and intervention program that transforms Early Years and Key Stage 1 provision. Designed and delivered by qualified, experienced teachers, our immersive environments blend joyful play with meaningful, curriculum‑linked learning.
Children explore, imagine, collaborate and problem‑solve, all while developing the essential skills that underpin progress across the curriculum.

Wylde Green Primary School shared the following on their weekly newsletter:
This half term Reception are learning about people who help us. As a stunning starter to this topic we had Explorers Play Village visit school. The children had the opportunity to role play as some of these community helpers. They pretended to work in a vet's practice, police station, bakery, construction site, fire station, doctors office and a home. They had a fantastic time and loved pretending to be different people. Here are what some of the children said was their favourite part of the play village:
'Beeping the horn in the police car' MH
'Playing with all of the cars and the book corner' OD
'I loved dressing up as a police man and going in the car' CB
'The home corner because there were babies and I was feeding them' EO
'I was the vet and helped the animals' SW
'Explorers Play Village came to our school to do a session for our two Reception classes and the children loved it! They had so many role play areas and dressing up to choose from. Heather and Natalie had great communication with us and interacted with the children beautifully. They engaged in their play and asked questions or gave ideas to further their learning. We loved having them come to our school and would love to have them come again.' Reception Teacher

Oasis Academy Blakenhale shared on their social media:

'We can’t thank you enough! Our children had the best time exploring and being able to immerse themselves into the their imaginative play. You were both so accommodating, and work so hard to set everything up for the children. How you interacted with the children was also lovely to watch. We would highly recommend you for any school. Thank you again.' Reception Teacher
